Assistant Director, Fleet Electrification
Lisa Drake serves as Assistant Director, Fleet Electrification at Merchants Fleet. Joining Merchants in 2021, Drake brings close to three decades of environmental and sustainability expertise to help Merchants drive electrification in the fleet industry. At Merchants, she drives progress on electrification of fleets both internally and for our clients and develops new tools and resources for successful EV adoption.
Before joining Merchants Fleet, Drake spent much of her career as Director of Sustainability Innovation at Stonyfield. There, she led the development and implementation of innovative strategies to advance the company on its sustainability journey. Prior to Stonyfield, Drake managed economic development programs for the State of New Jersey and was a project manager and licensed professional engineer for CDM Smith and Barr Engineering.
Drake has BS and MS degrees in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Tufts University. She serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility; is an Advisory Board Member and Ambassador for the NH Food Bank; and was previously on the Board of Directors for Climate Counts.
A recreational hockey player and yoga & dance enthusiast, Lisa is happiest either on ice skates or barefoot in a studio. She is also a USA Hockey Certified Hockey Coach and a Certified Yoga Dance Instructor. Lisa lives in Manchester, NH with her husband, Erik, two teenage sons and her puggle, Sparky.
