Hooksett, N.H., January 28, 2022 - Merchants Fleet, the nation’s fastest growing fleet management company, is pleased to announce that CEO Brendan P. Keegan is joining industry experts for a panel discussion at the Bloomberg New Energy Finance Summit (BNEF) in San Francisco on January 31 – February 1, 2022.

Keegan, who has been a driving force behind fleet electrification, will provide industry insights alongside colleagues from BrightDrop, PACCAR, Inc, and Ideaomics for a discussion titled “Zero Emission Vans and Trucks: Scaling Up Electrification and the Role of Hydrogen.” The panel experts will address proposed solutions for the decarbonization of commercial vehicles; specific use cases; and the advances in technology, finance and policy that are required to achieve the decarbonization of the commercial transportation industry.

Under Keegan’s leadership, Merchants Fleet is leading fleet electrification with nearly 40,000 EV reservations, and more than $2.5 Billion committed toward having 50% of its mobility fleet electric by 2025 and 50% of its clients’ fleet electric by 2030. The company has also developed an exclusive AdoptEV program that guides businesses through each step of the fleet electrification process — from assessing needs to purchasing the right vehicles to charging options and infrastructure support.
