Merchants Kicks Off Supercharged September
It’s Supercharged September at Merchants Fleet! This month, we’re putting the focus on our impactful EV and ESG initiatives.
Hooksett, N.H., September 1, 2023 – Merchants Fleet, the nation’s fastest growing fleet management company, today announced the launch of ‘Supercharged September’, a month-long series of electric vehicle (EV) education sessions, ESG initiatives, expert thought leadership content, and in-person events to promote Merchants’ commitment to fleet electrification.
The month kicks off with Merchants’ fourth annual Fleet Summit on September 12-14 at Merchants’ headquarters in Hooksett, NH. This annual flagship event brings 400+ industry experts and OEMs together to discuss current fleet topics. This year, participants will be treated to an exciting EV Ride & Drive experience at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and an exclusive preview of Merchants’ new ClearCharge Drop Station— a unique portable power solution designed to meet on-the-go charging needs for fleets.
As part of the Supercharged September initiative, Merchants’ EV experts will release a new EV Buy in Kit to help further dispel some of the most common myths and misconceptions around EVs. The initiative will also feature Merchants Fleet Chairman, CEO & President Brendan P. Keegan in a series of exclusive thought leadership pieces and fireside chats with industry insiders around topics including EVs, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and leadership. To support the initiative, Keegan will also be a featured speaker at MOVE America, in Austin, TX on September 26, on the topic of Fast Track to a Greener Future.
Supercharged September will also feature a community giving component to align with Merchants’ mantra of “Doing Well, by Doing Good,” with Merchants’ Director of ESG, Ted Lague leading a coordinated food drive among all Merchants locations. Food donations will be delivered by Merchants’ electric vehicles at the end of the month, to food pantries throughout New England.
